Dennis Egan is a partner in Cohen Kinne’s business and banking practice group.  In addition to his business and banking practice representing individuals, businesses, developers, financial institutions and investors, Dennis leads Cohen Kinne’s real estate and land use practice.  He specializes in sophisticated business, financing and commercial real estate transactions.

Dennis has extensive experience advising clients and negotiating agreements in connection with business formation and governance; commercial debt and equity financing; hiring and retaining key employees; buying, selling, managing and financing commercial real estate; land use; and mergers and acquisitions.

Dennis has represented both nonprofit and for-profit organizations across a wide range of industries, including medical practices, manufacturing, construction, cultural, retail and hospitality.

Dennis believes in taking the law – but not himself – seriously and is a strong believer in giving back to the Berkshires community that has given so much to him and his family.  In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees of the Berkshire Museum, he serves on the Boards of Directors of the Edward J. Madden Open Hearts Camp – a non-profit residential summer camp for children who have undergone and recovered from open heart surgery or a heart transplant, Pittsfield Community Television, the Pittsfield Economic Revitalization Corporation, and Pittsfield Babe Ruth. He is also the former Chairman of the Berkshire Leadership Program Steering Committee.

Dennis enjoys playing golf, fishing and taking advantage of the many cultural and recreational opportunities in the Berkshires with his family.
