David A. Hackett is a member of the Business and Banking Group, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate advice, and financing transactions. David’s clients value his responsiveness, clear communication and versatility.
Prior to joining Cohen Kinne, David was an Associate in the Boston office of one of the world’s largest law firms, where his practice included negotiating venture capital and M&A transactions, providing general counsel services for start-up technology companies, and advising lenders on financing transactions. David’s clients ranged from closely held family companies to large international conglomerates across a variety of industries.
Before beginning his legal career, David obtained a B.A. in Economics and Physics from Cornell University, along with an M.B.A. from the Boston College Carroll School of Management. He also spent a year as a Marketing Specialist with TransMedics, Inc., working towards the successful FDA approval of their OCS Lung organ preservation device.
