Jaan Rannik
Jaan is an experienced litigator who has tried numerous complex cases to verdict in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration, representing clients in all manner of commercial matters, including contractual disputes, business tort cases, real estate disputes, intellectual property matters, and construction cases. He also enjoys appellate work and has successfully handled numerous appeals in both state and federal court. He has obtained in excess of $20m in judgments and awards for his clients.
Jaan joined Cohen Kinne from Charleston, South Carolina, where he was a partner at a boutique commercial litigation firm. He has long dreamed of living in the Berkshires, where his wife grew up, and raising their daughter here. Outside of work, Jaan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, taking in the beauty of the Berkshires while skiing or walking his rescue hound, and playing guitar.
