Jennifer S. Rao is a Senior Associate in the Litigation, Employment, and College/University Practice Groups. Her litigation experience spans a full range of subjects, including construction defect litigation, employment law, personal injury law, business law, and commercial landlord-tenant law. She has both trial and appellate-level experience in state courts, as well as federal court experience. She has served as both plaintiff’s counsel and defense counsel for clients ranging from individuals and small businesses to large corporations and government entities. Before joining CKVC, Jennifer developed her litigation skills as an associate at a commercial litigation firm and at an insurance defense firm, appointed to handle the firm’s complex matters. Her law school honors include the Dean’s List, Dean’s Honor Scholarship, Order of the Coif, and Dean’s Certificates of Achievement for Outstanding Performance in Civil Procedure II, Litigation Skills I Pretrial, and International Law.

Jennifer has family roots in Western Massachusetts and is an advocate for the preservation of New England heritage and historic architecture.
