Jesse Cook-Dubin’s practice consists of business, banking, and merger and acquisition law. He advises local, regional, national, and international companies, including many multigenerational family businesses, on legal issues ranging from routine contracts to selling business units or entire companies. Jesse excels at identifying the opportunities that are open to a business, and enjoys providing the practical advice, guidance, and planning that help its owners achieve long-term success. He leads transactions for clients who are purchasing, selling, financing, and growing their businesses. He negotiates a wide range of contracts, loans, leases, employment contracts, and other agreements. Jesse was trained as a chapter 11 lawyer and also provides high-level representation in restructuring, bankruptcy, and liquidation matters. His hands-on, results-oriented approach is one of the reasons he has been named by Boston magazine as a Rising Star in the legal field for 10 consecutive years.
A strong advocate for business and cultural development in the Berkshires, Jesse is the Immediate Past President of Downtown Pittsfield, Inc., which fosters the growth of the Berkshires’ downtown core through strategic vision and program development. He can often be found taking advantage of the wealth of outdoor opportunities in the Berkshires, including skiing, cycling, and hiking, and counts legendary music venue Tanglewood among his favorite places to visit.
