Elizabeth focuses her practice on civil litigation, including employment matters, personal injury and business disputes.

Prior to joining Cohen Kinne, Elizabeth was a Litigation Associate at a Boston law firm.  Her prior experience focused on complex civil litigation matters and employment cases, including her service as a Staff Attorney for Justice at Work in Boston.  Elizabeth has appeared in state and federal courts and before administrative bodies representing clients in cases involving wage and hour violations, discrimination, wrongful termination, personal injury and wrongful death.

Elizabeth utilizes her sound judgment and creativity to provide effective legal solutions to a variety of clients.

Elizabeth’s personal interests include hiking and taking advantage of the art and cultural opportunities in the Berkshires.

Experience Highlights

  • Obtained a $1 million judgment in a 5-day federal jury trial involving the retaliatory termination of a skycap attempting to assert his rights under the Massachusetts Wage Act.
  • Negotiated a $2 million settlement in a complex tort case.
  • Litigated and negotiated numerous favorable settlements in employment, personal injury and product liability cases.
  • Won a half a million-dollar judgment in Middlesex Superior Court, following a five-day jury trial, in a personal injury case in which her client suffered a traumatic brain injury.
